Position Period:

April-October

Hours:

This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 25-30 hours/week, depending on the season. 

​

Compensation:

$15 per hour + lots of veggies!

 

Responsibilities:

You will be assisting the farm manager in daily farm tasks, including:

• Field work: transplanting, weeding, bed preparation, trellising, irrigating, pest control, spreading compost & soil amendments

• Greenhouse tasks: seeding, watering, pest management

• Maintaining equipment and farm infrastructure

• Record keeping and organizational tasks

• Harvesting, washing & packing vegetables, and other post-harvest management of vegetables

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Previous farming experience or interest in learning

• Experience working outdoors 

• Passionate about growing food

• Hard working & great attention to detail

• Good communicator & team player
